The begining of a family business

The Lench Group was originally founded by Adrian Lench and his wife Jackie in 1987, under A Lench Building & Roofing. The company traded as a general builder and roofing contractor, employing gangs of bricklayers to undertake housing projects.

A strong history in apprenticeships

We have trained over 240 apprentices and well known for our reputation as an excellent apprenticeship provider. Our current Build Director Steve Tilstone was our first apprentice in 1995, with others now working for us as Contracts Managers, Site Supervisors and in various other key roles.

Staying true to our family values

Keeping true to the family values of our company, Tom Lench joined the team in 2012 as an apprentice, and still here with us as our Apprenticeship Director. Tom now manages and oversees all of our apprentices and ensures we have have a thriving workforce.

The growth of a successful business

The growth of our expertise and capabilities widened in 2014 when establishing TTL Building & Maintenance, allowing us to offer private residential homeowners, developers and investors support in developing and renovating their properties, offering a whole package from pre-construction to completion.

Perfecting family homes

With our long history in working with numerous developers, and the natural development of the business, the Lench Building Group expanded their offering, providing high pressure cleaning services for our commercial clients. In 2016 Lench Cleaning Services was established, serving both commercial and private residential clients.

Opening the door to new opportunities

With the acquisition of Wild Goose Architecture we were able to diversify the business and offer our clients a full package from pre-construction through to completion. This provides our customers with one point of contact and trust in the ability that we have the knowledge and tools to meet our clients every need.
